Deidara swallowed down a wad in his throat out of both fear, and nervousness - beaded sweat trickling down the side of his face and dripping from his jaw and chin, unnoticably trembling in place of course. He placed the heart on the ground and backed away silently as he awaited hopefuly for Pein to revive Sasori.

Deidara nodded and sighed in relief that he wouldn't be killed, but only punished.

Al-...alright, un.. thanks, Leader.

He bowed in gratitude and quickly teleported away by a puff of smoke and taking off with the clay bird.

In a dark corner, having masked his presence, Kenshin has heard everything, hoping to impress Pein by trying to beat Deidara to the body of the puppet, he teleports away in the hopes of getting the puppet body first.

Kenshin arrives at the scene with a puppet body similar to the one Sasori had in his hands, putting it on the floor in front of Pein, a shadow of a smirk forms on his mask as he lays down the puppet body.
I have completed what Deidara has failed to do, Pein.
Kenshin proudly declares, walking backwards as he waits and looks at what Pein is about to do.

Pein looked at Kenshin passively

Good, Kenshin you are doing well but do not foget your place

Kenshin nods.
Yes......sir, what will I do next?
Kenshin had a hard time pronouncing sir since he has never acknowledged anyone above him before.

Ignoring Kenshin, Pein takes a kunai from Deidara's pocket and cuts a deep hole in the puppet's body, putting Sasori's heart in it

The puppet blinked and sat up, looking at Pein as he did so. Sasori grit his teeth as he stood, looking down at his body. It was a plain, boring and normal puppet body. Nothing like the one he used to use.

Apparently I'll have to make a new body... only better this time

Sasori let out a frustrated sigh before he let his eyes glide over Kenshin for a moment (not really taking in much) before turning back to Pein. He would probably have to explain this.

Pein silently stood there, waiting for Sasori to speak

ANBU Sasori explained simply, not really wanting to go into details, but something told he would have to anyway.

But who knew, maybe he'd be lucky.

How many? - Pein asks simply, narrowing his eyes

Only one sir He replied calmly

Pathetic... - Pein said with steel in his voice

Sasori didn't react in any way, only stared blankly at Pein. He'd take whatever he'd get and finish it quickly so he could start working on his new body.

Though he did agree with the leader. He had been quite pathetic, not even managing to stand up against a single ANBU.
