Gaara had walked through the opposite side of the Arena, Calm, Collected. He Slowly drags His left Arm up onto the cap that keeps the sand in His gourd with a jerk of His Wrist He loosens the cap, And tosses it aside.

Gaara Pulls almost a never ending line of Sand from His Gourd letting it slither like a Snake on the ground towards Hinata with an Eerie speed, And shape to it...Slowly He lets the sand pick up speed towards Hinata almost as if He had just been toying with Hinata..Trying to make Her afraid.

Hinata watches Gaara's every move closely, and once the sand comes out, she activates her Byakugan. As the sand advances she jumps backwards, trying to come up with a plan quickly and avoid even touching the sand.

Gaara watches from across the arena, And smirks devilishly. Just to tease He has the sand jump off the ground in the exact same spot Hinata jumps Then has it land softly on the same spot She had landed.

Gaara sends the already speeding sand to its Maximum speed....The sand Raging after Hinata had been following Her wherever She may run...To Gaara's will He picked the sand up off the ground and sent it through the air aiming for Hinata's Midsection.

Hinata's eyes widen a bit when she sees the sand come rushing towards her. She swiftly pulls out 4 kunai, two of the kunai had paper bombs attached to them. And the second they hit the sand, the bombs exploded. Hinata took this moment to jump to the far right, and to throw 3 paper bomb kunai at Gaara.

Gaara Shifts his sight to the direction of the Kunai flying towards Him, He quickly sends His right arm diagonally up and left Sending a large Shield like shape of sand to block the bomb Kunai, Gaara uses His chakra to Harden the chakra to a point that wasn't regular so it may withstand the explosions.

...Better than I had anticipated...She is not what I remembered the Chuunin exams

Gaara now returns His attention to Hinata having the sand continue It's speed and follow Her around just so He can keep Her moving.

It seems like...he wants to keep me moving constantly...

She frowns, pulling out two smoke bombs from her pouch. Hinata throws them as they let out two giant clouds of purple smoke, giving her the perfect opportunity to perform her Doton no Jutsu and disappear from Gaara's sight completely.

Gaara had noticed Two large clouds of smoke arise after a few seconds of looking Gaara decides to Form A ball of hardened sand around His Layer by layer the sand closes in around His face leaving only a Extremely small hole for Him to see out of, Knowing if Hinata wanted to Get a few attacks at Him She would have to come close.

...Not good enough.

Once the smoke clears, Hinata resurfaces about 5 feet away from Gaara. She studies the ball of sand only for a moment.

I'm going to have to get closer...whether I want to or not....my jutsus won't work from a far distance...I'll just have to risk it...

Hinata yet again pulls out 4 paper bomb kunai, throwing them at the small hole Gaara had left to see out of. Her hopes were that they'd be a good enough distraction for her to move closer.

Gaara Quickly pulls His Eye's away from the hole covering it with sand and hardening it enough To take the Impact, As Hinata tries to get closer Gaara sends dozens of purposely blunted spikes that have formed from the sand shields exterior causing Hinata no space for Her to get a punch on the ball unless she wants to be Hit by a blunted Spike [Note the word BLUNTED I'm not trying to kill Her].

Surprised by this action, Hinata only manages to throw 7 of her own kunai, paper bombs attached to four of them, at Gaara's several dozen, trying to cancel some of his out. She gets hit by the rest, a few cuts on her arms now.

...He counters my every move...what do I do?...I'll just have to keep taking chances, I guess...

She rushes forward, running as fast as her feet would carry her.
